Brielle is eight months

DSC_8961September 12 was the day Brielle turned eight months. The last 10 days of her seventh month were spent in Florida. We took pictures at the pool where she was having so much fun!

DSC_9060She loved splashing in the water as she crawled in and out. It was a pool with a slope into it, so Brielle could go just as deep as she felt comfortable… or just as deep as Mommy felt comfortable. I’m not sure what Brielle’s limit really was. She sure loves the water!

DSC_9066This is Brielle’s serious face. She really was enjoying the pool. She tends to show this face off when she sees someone she doesn’t know, or someone she hasn’t seen in a while. It’s her serious “let me decide how I feel about you” look.  DSC_9149

Brielle and Isaiah seem to love to play together. Isaiah still can get Brielle to giggle harder than anyone else can. Here they were playing with my hat and both really thought it was the funniest thing.DSC_9124 DSC_9121 DSC_9123DSC_9127

Oh the giggles!

DSC_9091 DSC_9097 Brielle got more teeth this month. Her third and fourth teeth, the top two, finally broke through. On a more exciting note, she learned to clap! Her face lights up so proudly as she brings her hands together. She loves to clap along as we sing “If you’re happy and you know it” or “pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake”. It’s like she’s just so excited to participate in the fun now. DSC_9011Brielle’s vocabulary consists of a lot of repetition of two syllables “ba ba ba ba ba” and “ma ma ma ma ma”. Sometimes she uses the interchangeably 🙂

She still dislikes the car seat a lot of the time. Short distances are fine but if we are going anywhere longer, she’s sure to let her protest be heard. Soon she’ll move to the bigger carseat and I think she will like the whole experience more.

Brielle you’re a joy! Isaiah brings out the best giggles in you yet and you get excited just seeing him come in the room. Your mom and dad couldn’t love you more. Can’t wait to see what the next month has in store! Mwah.
