Isaiah turned six months old this week. 6 months. That’s half a year. Crazy. It feels like he’s been a part of our family forever, yet at the same time this six months has just flown by. He brings so much joy to our house! His giggles get cuter and more abundant every day. Sometimes he giggles now just with the inflection of how we are saying something or how we are looking at him. In less exciting news, it seems that with turning six months he started teething pretty badly. Sleep is harder to come by for him and Mommy when he’s this way. He likes to chat away with sounds like mamamamama, and babababa. I’d like to think he’s calling my name but I’m not sure he makes that association just yet. We’ve started to give him a few little pieces of our food and he LOVES it (more on that in a subsequent post).
Six months ago this week I fell in love with a baby in a way I never knew was possible. And the crazy part is that I just keep loving him more! That week I never imagined that the love could grow. I didn’t want the newborn stage to end because I just loved him so much. But as he grows and our relationship grows, my love too grows. Being a mommy to this little guy is such a privilege!
